Varicose Veins
Varicose veins on legs appear as the vascular wall weakens. They can be very thin or become larger. With vein laser treatment, which uses a highly concentrated beam of light, the vein is closed and sealed shut.
It is important to consider general and non-surgical treatments also.
You may best discuss this with a vascular surgeon.
For superficial spider veins (2-3 mm) on the legs, vascular laser treatment can be the solution. The laser beam will shut the veins and make them invisible.
Preparation: It is extremely important not to stimulate your pigment. In other words: no sun or solarium during the 3 weeks before the treatment. No self-sun or bronzing lotion either!
There is no specific aftercare; even support stockings will not be necessary.
In order to obtain a good result, you should follow the advice you will be given during your first consultation.
