Dr. Katrien Lagey eg
Dr. Katrien Lagey is a board-certified plastic surgeon trained in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, having graduated from UZ Brussel in 1999. For six years, she worked one to two days a week at the Velthuis Clinic in the Netherlands, where she gained extensive experience in aesthetic surgery. She has worked at various private clinics in the Netherlands and Belgium. She then worked at Medipolis from 2011 through 2017. Additionally, she worked for two years at the burn center in Neder-over-Heembeek.
Dr. Lagey is the head of the medical department and performs surgeries at the AZ Rivierenland Bornem campus. She also sees her patients at the Willebroek campus during a biweekly clinic on Tuesday afternoons.

By regularly attending conferences of various associations both in Belgium and abroad, she stays up to date on the latest developments in plastic surgery.
She is a board member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.
Fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum.
Diplomat of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
Member of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons - Real Plastic Surgeon.

She also obtained a specialized degree in microsurgery from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL).
She obtained her Master's degree in insurance medicine and medical expertise at the University of Antwerp.
