Permanent hair removal for women and men
Dark hairs contain a lot of melanin. The laser light is absorbed by the melanin. This results in permanent hair removal, or more accurately: permanent hair reduction.
HR or Hair Removal; classic hair removal laser
This laser treatment is more suitable for lighter skin types. The best results are achieved in people with fair skin and dark hair. All areas can be treated. Hairs go through a growth cycle, and only those in the growth phase are sensitive to the laser light. Therefore, 5-8 treatments are necessary.
It is very important that your skin pigmentation is not stimulated. So, no sun or sunbed before the treatment. Be sure not to use self-tanning products either.
It is best not to wax or use other epilation methods before laser treatment, as the hair follicle is the target. Shaving is allowed, preferably up to 2 days before the treatment.
SHR or Super Hair Removal; virtually painless hair removal
The principle is similar to the traditional HR. It is the only painless way to remove hair. All skin types can also be treated. This method is very suitable for the more sensitive areas or for people with sensitive skin.
Here, 6-9 treatments are needed because the hair will be in different stages of growth.
It is very important that your skin pigmentation is not stimulated. Therefore, avoid tanning beds or sun exposure before treatment. Do not use self-tanning products either.
We do ask you to refrain from waxing or other hair removal methods before laser treatment, as the target is the hair follicle. You may shave, preferably up to 2 days before treatment.
