Lipofilling

Aging is usually accompanied by loss of volume, which makes the face look 'sunken'. A fuller face stands for youthfulness, freshness, and health. With this technique, fat tissue is removed from another area of the body, e.g. the abdomen, and is used to restore facial volume. The results are permanent.
The fat cells are centrifuged, washed, and filtered so that only living cells remain. Using very fine cannulas, the purified fat cells are re-injected: around the cheekbones, in the nasolabial folds, along the jawline, into sunken cheeks, lips, etc. They are evenly distributed to ensure maximum integration. Generally, 70% of the fat integrates, yielding beautiful and lasting results.
After a few weeks, a significant improvement in skin quality and skin elasticity becomes visible.
Practical information
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with a sedative injection or under general anesthesia.
Afterwards you will rest in a recliner or you will be taken from the recovery room to your room. In both cases you can go home the same day.
You will receive a letter with advice on how to recover as well and as quickly as possible.
You will be given an appointment to have the stitches removed after one week.
You will notice some slight swelling and possibly some bruising for a few days.
