Varicose veins (varices) or spider veins
Varicose veins on the legs are caused by a weakening of the vascular wall. They can be very fine (spider veins) or become somewhat thicker. It is important to also consider general and surgical treatments. It is best to discuss this with a vascular surgeon.
For the superficial smaller blood vessels up to 2-3 mm on the legs, the vascular laser can help. The laser beam will cause the vessels to collapse, making them no longer visible.
It is very important that your skin is not tanned, so do not sit in the sun or use a tanning bed before the treatment. Also, do not use self-tanning products.
There is no specific aftercare, support stockings are not necessary. Avoid intense exercise, hot baths, and saunas for the first few days. To achieve good results, it is important that you follow the recommendations. These will be explained to you during your initial consultation.
