Pigment spots
There are various types of pigment spots, and depending on the type of spot, a different treatment is required to remove them.
Birthmarks are often located deeper in the skin and can be removed with the Er-Yag laser or by excision and suturing.
Superficial pigment spots are caused by sun damage or aging. They can be treated with the green light laser handpiece, peels or the Er-Yag laser.
Practical information

Preparation: Your skin should not be tanned, so avoid sun exposure or tanning beds before the treatment. Do not use self-tanning products either.

After the green light treatment, micro crusts may form. These usually remain for a few days to one week after the treatment. You may wear make-up.
