Couperose
Red capillaries on the face, especially around the cheeks and nose, can be unsightly. As we age, the number of blood vessels increases.
The couperose treatment is as follows: With a laser handpiece, green light or light of 540-950 nm is absorbed by the red blood cells. This closes the blood vessels and they disappear.
Practical
The couperose treatment takes about 20 minutes. Generally 2 to 3 treatments are needed.
Preparation: it is important that your pigment is not stimulated, so no sun or sunbed before the treatment. Also do not use tanning without sun.
After the treatment, there may be slight redness or swelling, especially around the eyes. This usually only lasts a few hours but can last up to 2 days after the treatment. You may wear make-up.
It is better not to take hot baths or go to the sauna.
