Breast augmentation

Breast augmentation, also known as breast augmentation, is the surgical placement of breast implants to increase the volume and projection of the breasts or to improve a significant degree of asymmetry between the two breasts.

We can:

  • Naturally Enlarge Small Breasts

  • To restore lost breast volume after pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss

  • To achieve better symmetry when breasts differ in size and shape.

The intervention

With breast augmentation, the prosthesis is inserted through a small incision, usually in the breast fold, in front of or behind the pectoral muscle. This choice is discussed with you in advance and depends on various factors: whether there is enough breast tissue, family history, personal preference.

The procedure is always performed under general anesthesia and takes about an hour.

After the procedure

The wound after a breast enlargement is covered with a shower plaster and you are given a special support bra that you have to wear day and night for a month. This way the breast is well supported and the swelling is limited. When the prosthesis is inserted behind the muscle, a top band is also added.

When you are awake enough to leave the recovery room, you will go to your room in the day clinic. You can go home the same day, but with a driver!

We will give you a letter with tips and instructions to ensure a smooth healing process.

The suture - a fine continuous thread - is removed after a week.

The result

The result is immediately visible, although you should take into account that the swelling of the first few days will still decrease. The longer you have the implants, the more natural your breasts will look.

After a few weeks the breast will look and feel natural again

The scars will fade from a pink streak to a thin white line.
