Labiaplasty
A hidden problem, but one that many women still suffer from, is overly large 'small labia' or labia minora, which extend too far beyond the labia majora. This can be genetically determined or become more pronounced after pregnancies. You can have it corrected for aesthetic reasons, or if it bothers you during sex or sports such as horse riding and cycling.
The intervention
After a soothing injection and local anesthesia, the surgeon will mark the excess skin and remove the excess tissue. The suturing is done with a dissolvable thread so that no stitches need to be removed afterwards.
The operation takes about an hour.
After the procedure
While you rest in a comfortable chair, we cool the treated area to minimize swelling.
You will receive a letter with advice to speed up recovery and you will be allowed to go home, but you are not allowed to drive yourself.
You will receive an appointment for a check-up after 1 week
The result
After 2 weeks the threads have dissolved and a few weeks later the scars are no longer visible.
