MACS-lift
If the lines and folds become too deep, a mini facelift with a lot of attention to maintaining the natural facial expression can provide a solution.
The tissues are loosened through an incision in front of the ear, after which the subcutaneous tissues are lifted vertically with a permanent thread.
This mini facelift takes 60 to 90 minutes. Sometimes this is combined with liposuction of the double chin and/or an eye correction.
The result is remarkable: you have a fresh and youthful face and a tight jawline again. You have taken a step back in time of about 10 years.
Practical
The mini facelift is performed under local anesthesia with a sedative injection or under general anesthesia.
If the procedure was performed under local anesthesia, you may rest in a relaxation chair while we cool you down with a cold compress. Then you may go home (with your driver!).
After an operation under anesthesia, you will first go to the recovery room and then to your room. After you have eaten and drunk something, you can go home. With your driver!
You will receive a letter with advice to heal as well and as quickly as possible. You will be given an appointment to have the stitches removed after 10 days.
You will notice some swelling and possibly some bruising for a few days.
You may wear make-up again the day after the stitches have been removed.
