Eyelid correction
The natural aging process reduces the elasticity of the skin. As a result, the skin around the eye slackens and the upper eyelid can droop, even pressing on the eyelashes. A feeling of heaviness and a tired appearance arise.
Sometimes drooping eyelids are hereditary and you may need eyelid correction at a younger age.
The skin on the lower eyelids also begins to sag, causing bags and dark circles to form, which contribute to a tired and sad face.
Upper eyelid correction
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with a sedative injection and takes about an hour.
With a drawing on the eyelid, the incision is precisely indicated in the natural fold of the upper eyelid. The excess skin and fatty tissue is removed and also in the fold is sutured with a fine thread that reduces the scar to a minimum. It will not or barely be visible.
Lower eyelid correction
This procedure is also performed under local anesthesia with a sedative injection and takes about an hour.
Through an incision just under the eyelashes, the excess skin and fatty tissue is removed. The wound is sutured with a thin thread and here too the scar will not be visible or barely visible.

Afterwards you will rest in a relaxing chair while we cool your eyes with a cold compress. Then you can go home (with your driver!).
You will receive a letter with advice on how to recover as well and as quickly as possible.
You will receive an appointment to have the stitches removed after a week
You will notice some swelling and possibly some bruising for a few days.
You may wear make-up and contact lenses again the day after the stitches have been removed.
The result of the eyelid correction is a fresh, open look without changing your personality or facial expression!
